Welcome to the 1066 Bakery, a local favorite since we first opened our doors in 1997, when the Priory Meadow Shopping Centre was originally established. We are one of the only businesses that have been operating in the Shopping Centre for the over 25 years it has been open. 

As the original coffee house in the Centre, originally called Mr Bean Coffee House, we’ve spent these 25 years perfecting the art of creating a welcoming space for everyone; whether you're here to socialize, work, or unwind, we offer the perfect spot for all ages and occasions.

Our coffee house is designed to suit your lifestyle, with cozy areas for casual meetups upstairs, space to watch the world go by downstairs, a lovely outdoor seating area, or the perfect sppot for a grab and go coffee on your way to work or the train station. 

Visit our RX1066 boat upstairs in the kids play area, where the little ones can let their imagination run wild; it’s a fun space that keeps the kids entertained while you enjoy your coffee.
